Terms & Conditions of Sale

1. Scope. These general terms and conditions of sale ("Terms") govern all purchases made on the Maison Burford website by consumers residing in the European Union.

2. Products and prices. Product descriptions and prices are as displayed on the site at the time of order, in euros, inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Maison Burford reserves the right to change prices at any time; the price applied is the one in effect when the order is placed.

3. Order confirmation. An order is final once payment has been confirmed and a confirmation email has been sent to the customer.

4. Payment. Payment is due in full at the time of order, via the payment methods offered at checkout.

5. Delivery. See our Shipping & Returns page for delivery times and costs.

6. Right of withdrawal. In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code and Directive 2011/83/EU, you have 14 calendar days from receipt of your order to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason and without penalty, other than the direct cost of returning the goods. To exercise this right, notify us of your decision by an unambiguous statement (e.g. an email to concierge@maisonburford.com) before the withdrawal period expires. 7. Legal warranty. All products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code), at no additional cost to you.

8. Dispute resolution. If a dispute arises, contact us first at concierge@maisonburford.com. Failing an amicable resolution, you may refer the matter, free of charge, to the consumer mediator: [name and contact details of the mediator to be provided]. You may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

9. Governing law. These Terms are governed by French law.
